Welcome to the American Chungdokwan Taekwondo Association (ACTA).

Grandmaster In Mook Kim The ACTA was founded in 1976 by Grandmster In Mook Kim. The ACTA's guiding principle is to provide its members with the highest quality of instruction and leadership in Chungdokwan Taekwondo.

A Mind, Body and Spirt Orientation

The ACTA teaches the Art of Tae Kwon Do with a unique mind/body/spirit orientation. The Art of Tae Kwon Do is a self defense orientation, teaching students how to achieve control over an adversary using as few movements as possible. This requires a different mental focus, body position and intensity then point style competition. Though competition is an important component of ACTA training, the Association's emphasis on the Art of Tae Kwon Do and its self-defense orientation is pure and unwavering.
